Welcome to an exhilarating ski touring experience in the Indian Himalayas, based in Manali. This 12-day journey offers skiers the perfect combination of breathtaking landscapes, technical skiing, and cultural immersion. Whether you are an experienced ski tourer or someone looking for a unique alpine adventure, this expedition takes you through some of the most untouched and spectacular terrains in the Himalayas.
With panoramic views of towering 6000-meter peaks, serene valleys, and expansive glaciers, you’ll ski in remote areas such as the Seathan slopes, upper kullu Valley, and the pristine Lahual Valley, culminating in the awe-inspiring Zanskar region. Each day combines challenging ascents, thrilling descents, and the opportunity to soak in the rich Himalayan culture. The journey starts and ends in New Delhi, providing a smooth transition into this incredible adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi and Transfer to Manali – Into the Himalayas
Your adventure begins at the New Delhi airport, where we’ll greet you and transfer you to a comfortable hotel. After breakfast, embark on a scenic minibus journey to Manali, the gateway to the Himalayas. Enjoy your first night in this charming mountain town, preparing for the adventure ahead .

Day 2: Acclimatization day, explore Manali with a short hike and local sightseeing
Day 3: Skiing in Sethan – First Himalayan Sensations
We head to the nearby Sethan region for your first day on skis. The gentle slopes are perfect for warming up, offering stunning views over the surrounding valleys. After a full day of skiing, return to Manali for the night.

Day 4: Ski Touring or Relaxing in Manali
Depending on the energy levels! we choose to ski tour and explore the Gulaba or Patalsu meadows, enjoy challenging terrain with rewarding descents.

Day 5: Head of Kullu Valley Skiing – 5000m Challenge
Today, we ski in the Near Dhundi Valley near Atal tunnel, reaching heights above 5000m. Experience skiing in a cirque surrounded by towering peaks and glaciers. Later, we’ll cross the Atal Tunnel into the stunning Lahaul and Spiti region, settling into a guest house for the night.

Day 6: Seven Sisters – A Majestic Ski Tour
We set off from the guest house for an exciting ascent up the south face of the Seven Sisters. Weather permitting, we’ll cross the Seven Sisters pass (4700m) and ski down the northern slopes before returning to our guest house.

Day 7: Discovering the Yotse Valley
Today, we transfer to the Yotse Valley, a breathtakingly open landscape surrounded by towering 6000-meter peaks. The ski tour here offers unparalleled views and thrilling descents.

Day 8: Ski Touring in the greater Himalayas – The Roof of the World
Skiing in the domain of the Shinku la or Baralacha la (pass above 5000m), which offers the perfect opportunity to push yourself to new heights. For those who wish, we’ll ascend even higher into the Zanskar range.

Day 9: Return to Manali
We return to Manali and back to civilization. Enjoy a comfortable night in Manali.

Day 10: Free Day in Manali
Take a rest day to recover from the adventure. Wander the streets of Manali, shop for souvenirs, or relax in a local café. Lunch is on your own, allowing you to explore the local cuisine.

Day 11: Return to New Delhi
We make our way back to New Delhi, where you can enjoy your last evening in India. Relax in the hotel and share stories of your incredible Himalayan ski adventure.

Day 12: Cultural Sightseeing and Departure
Sightseeing in Delhi, shopping and Transfer to the airport for your flight home, marking the end of an unforgettable ski touring experience in the Indian Himalayas.
